Nutella & Almond Milk Fudge Pops🍦

I remember growing up I used to LOVE when my mom and grandma would make homemade ice pops on a hot summer day. They used to put whatever juice was in the fridge in ice pop trays and my siblings and I would literally go crazy over them. Such a simple thing! I wanted to create some yummy ice pops since its been so hot out here. I wanted something a little sweet though and these came out perfect!

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup Nutella (or any chocolate hazelnut spread)

1 1/2 Cup Chocolate Almond Milk

( you can also add in a little greek yogurt to get some added protein!)

Directions:

Take the half cup of nutella and put in a mixing bowl. Then slowly whisk in the chocolate almond milk. Pour into silicone ice pop trays (I find these work the best) The recipe yields about 4-5 ice pops so I usually will double the recipe to make some extra!

Easy Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip💥🍽

I am a sucker for anything buffalo! My weakness is definitely buffalo chicken dip😅 so I wanted to do a skinny version! And best part is its cooked in a crock pot so you don’t have to dirty dishes OR stand over the stove. You basically just throw everything in and let it cook. SO simple and yummy.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2-3 (about 1.5lbs) Chicken Breasts (or rotisserie chicken shredded)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 Cup Franks Red Hot Buffalo Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Cup non-fat Greek Yougurt
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons dry ranch seasoning/mix

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Cook your chicken in the crockpot for about 4 hours on high or 6-7 on low. If you are using precooked rotisserie chicken you just have to shred it. (if you are using precooked rotisserie chicken you dont need the crock pot you can just do the following steps in a pot on the stove)

2.) Once the chicken is cooked, shred it. Empty out the excess water the chicken cooked in. Once emptied, add in the rest of your ingredients. Stir together and let cook together on low for about 30-45 minutes.

3.) Serve with Tortilla chips, carrots, Celery, pita chips, potato wedges or my new favorite is have the buffalo dip in a taco wrap! SO good and makes for a perfect dinner.

Healthier Nachos for Cinco De Mayo 🌮

My husband and I love to snack on Nachos (particularly loaded nachos😂) so I wanted to find a way to make this snack a little bit on the healthier side. I remember years ago making this recipe and while I was grocery shopping I cam across these mini bell peppers and I thought this would be so appropriate since Cinco De Mayo is this week!

This recipe is super easy and very adaptable to whatever you might have in your pantry. There are so many variations you can do – and it will be soo good with whatever is on it! I had some ground beef (I usually opt for ground turkey) cheddar cheese, tomatoes, onion, jalapeno peppers and guacamole. You can easily add black beans, salsa, sour cream, shredded lettuce or so many other different things. You can also make this vegetarian by not using any meat and adding in some refried beans!

Homemade Healthy Nacho Recipe

INGRIEDIENTS:

  • Mini Bell Peppers
  • Ground Beef or Turkey
  • Taco Seasoning
  • Shredded Cheese (I used cheddar)
  • Diced Tomato
  • Diced Onion
  • Guacamole
  • Jalapeno peppers sliced
  • Other Ideas- Salsa, Sour Cream, Cilantro, Shredded Lettuce, Beans

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Preheat oven to 400 Degrees. Wash and Slice your peppers and arrange on a baking sheet. Make sure to keep them pretty close together since when you load them up with the beef and toppings it wont get all over the sheet pan.

2.) Brown your meat and add in the taco seasoning. I like to make sure the meat is cooked through since these only bake for about 10 minutes in the oven. Put the browned meat on top of the peppers on the sheet pan and add your cheese. Bake in the oven for 8-12 Minutes until cheese is melted and peppers are slightly soft.

3.) Time to add your toppings! Add all your cold toppings and top with some guacamole. You can use store bought or make your own. I made my own and used Avocado, Lime Juice, red onion, tomato, salt and pepper. I normally will add cilantro but was all out. And you are all set! Such a fun little lunch or snack.

Mother’s Day Gift Guide 🌷💐🌻

Mother’s day is right around the corner and I always struggle with this holiday. My mom always tells me to not worry about a gift when I ask her what she wants so its not an easy task shopping for her! LOL! So I tried to come up with a few ideas that are useful and items your mom will definitely love (and use!).

2.) Candles! This is my moms response when I ask her what she wants after I beg her to give me some ideas haha. THESE are my favorite candles right now they all smell soooo good my favorite flavor is the Grapefruit Flavor!

3.) Slip Silk Pillow case + Sleeping accessories– These pillowcases keep your hair and skin looking perfect at night. I also use their hair scrunchies (linked HERE) every single night to keep my hair smooth at night. They would make such a good gift!

4.) Spark*l Upcycled Watch Bands– These are the best!!! If your mom has an iWatch these watch bands are all repurposed from designer handbag material. They also gave me a 10% off code for you guys to use its “TNSTYLED10”

5.) Nespresso Coffee Machines– These machines hands down make the best coffees and expressos. This coffee makes me want to get up in the morning!

6.) Mini Backpacks- for moms that are always on the go- backpacks are the way to go. Way easier than carrying a bag on your shoulder. Linked up a super cute one HERE and HERE.

7.) Automatic Pasta Maker- I actually just ordered one of these and am waiting for it to come in but its on sale for 50% off right now! I thought it would make such a good gift if your mom likes to cook especially with being home more often- could be a fun family day idea!

California Roll Bowls 🍣

Super easy dinner idea alert! ⚠️ I have been making these bowls for years! They are basically a poke bowl- but I like to call them California Roll bowls since I think its more catchy LOL! If you ask my husband what he wants for dinner the answer will always be these bowls! He LOVES them and he also likes how easy they are and the no clean up/mess part.

California Roll Bowl Recipe

INGRIEDIENTS:

Serves 2-3

  • Rice (we usually make about a cup)
  • Avocado (sliced)
  • Mini Cucumbers (chopped)
  • imitation crab
  • 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1/2-1 Tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Optional- Soy Sauce and Ginger

DIRECTIONS:

1.) Cook your rice according the the package. You can season with rice vinegar but this totally isn’t necessary! I usually don’t and go with jasmine or basmati rice since I like the flavor more.

2.) Cut up your cucumbers and crab and slice your avocado. Mix together your Mayonnaise and sriracha sauce. You can add a little extra or a little less depending on how spicy you like it.

3.) Once you rice is done cooking separate the rice out into 2 bowls. Add in your Avocado, Cucumber and crab. Top it with the Mayonnaise mixture (I like to put this in a ziplock bag and cut the end to distribute evenly) Add on your sesame seeds and you are done! You can also top with ginger and soy sauce depending on what you like!

Healthy Snack Ideas🍕🍓🥨

Okay, so I can’t be the only one non-stop snacking since being home so much. Anyone else? or is it just me 😅 I wanted to put together a few items that I keep in my house and on hand for when the snack cravings hit! Also- most of these items can be ordered online so you don’t have to step foot in a grocery store.

1.) OWYN Protein Shake– These are THE BEST. It took me a very long time to find a plant based protein shake that I actually enjoyed. Many of them have weird aftertastes and are high in sugar. This one tastes amazing (chocolate and vanilla are my favorite flavors) and my husband loves them too. I can never keep these stocked in our fridge since they go so fast!

2.) Caulipower Brand Items- I try to eat lower carb most days (not always but I try when I can!) and the pizzas and chicken tenders from this brand are so good. We actually just did these chicken tenders in the air fryer the other day and wow they were so good you could not tell thee coatings was made from cauliflower and not breadcrumbs at all and super crispy! Another item they have that I love are the Caulipower Tortillas!

3.) Foodstirs– this brand makes cookie/brownie/cakes mixes that are all lower in sugar then normal mixes and they are also made with all organic and non-GMO ingredients. They have a lot of kid and family friends baking mixes that would be fun to do as a family! We are making the snickerdoodle blondies tonight for dessert!

4.) Safe + Fair– If you have not heard of this brand before I would highly recommend checking them out! They make food products that are clean and allergen free. Everything is always directly written on the label. They have the best granola! If you have allergies this is an awesome option for granola (and other products as well) since many times granola can contain nuts and seeds or be cross contaminated in the factory they are made in. I also have a discount code for 10% off “TNSTYLED10” to enter at check out. You can visit there website HERE

5.) Oats Overnight– This brand sells oats in a little package that you just mix with your favorite type of milk. They are very high in protein and make a great breakfast or snack. My favorite flavor is the strawberries and cream!

6.) Go Macro Bars– I have been eating these for year. I always keep them on hand especially when I am traveling. I usually keep one in my bag at all times to grab if I am out and about and want a quick bite!

7.) Berries + Chocolate Chips- so this is a new found favorite. I take usually a raspberry or sliced strawberries and mix them with a few Dark chocolate chips! (love THESE ones) This is such a quick and easy snack and satisfies my sweet tooth!
