This might be one of my favorite and EASIEST desserts to date! If you are craving s’mores but dont have the campfire to make them THIS is perfect for you. You can make this all year long just skip out on the red and blue sprinkles but since it’s the Fourth of July this weekend I had to make it a little patriotic!
To start you are going to want to preheat your oven to 450 degrees and grease an oven safe pan. You can use a little butter or even some oil spray. This only bakes for about 9-10 minutes and I recommend not baking it until you are just about to serve it since the marshmallows will deflate after they are out of the oven for a while. I also have a video posted of me making this dish if you need a visual over on Instagram (@tnstyled also linked on the bottom of my website) Hope you guys enjoy!
Ingredients:
- Red and Blue Sugar Sprinkles
- Marshmallows
- chocolate chips (i used milk chocolate)
- butter or oil spray
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and grease an oven safe pan. I used a glass pyrex pan I recommend using a smaller one usually 8×8 is the perfect size but I didn’t have one that size so mines a bit larger. Dip each marshmallow in water or run them under some water (only the ones you will be covering in sprinkles this will help them to stick) Use a toothpick to dip each marshmallow in the sprinkles. I used 9 blue and 8 red ones. Lay your chocolate chips down and then add in your blue marshmallows as the “stars” of the flag. Then alternate your red and white stripes using your red dipped marshmallows and plain white ones. Bake in the oven right before serving for about 9 minutes and enjoy!
