Can you guys believe today was the last day of August?! I cant even believe how fast time is flying by. I have been trying to round up some transitional outfits for Fall and I am having way too much fun with it! I feel like I used to never know what to wear during transitional weather (did I make that up? LOL) I love all the fall crop sweaters and Fall maxi dresses! I never really thought to wear a maxi dress with booties but when I tried this on I was so surprised at how much I loved the way it looked with the booties!
I wanted to share this maxi dress I got off Amazon with you guys since its probably my favorite amazon purchase in a while! It’s comfy and I love the fit of it- its super flattering! I love a good off the shoulder dress. It also comes in a bunch of other colors and is only $46. I will include the link below!
Over the years I have invested in a number of Lululemon pieces and have to say their stuff is amazing quality and really does last a very long time so I do highly recommend investing in a pair of their leggings! BUT I will say I am basically in workout clothes daily so I need some other items in my closet. I recently came across a brand on Amazon that is soo similar to Lululemon and have been pretty impressed with everything I have ordered from there. I actually just ordered a few more items that were on sale over the weekend since I have been wearing their stuff so much.
The shorts I got were the first item I got- and I was really happy with them. The length of the shorts and the material are both great. I also put them to the test during my workout the other day. They stayed in place and didn’t ride up which was so great since this is usually the problem I run into with workout shorts. The tank top was also just as comfy! It was breathable and stayed in place well. I did just order one with a built in bra but I did have to wear a sports bra with this one! I posted some pictures and all outfit details below!
I love a good designer piece but sometimes these items are expensive! and not to mention super trendy and sometimes they go out of style fast! I treat myself every so often to a designer piece but usually anything I purchase is a classic item that I will be able to use for years to come not something that I wear for one season and never wear again.
I searched so many places for some good designer inspired pieces! These items all have that “designer feel” for a fraction of the price. One of my favorite items is the Bottega Veneta shoes and handbag! I ordered a pair of these shoes a while back off amazon- they were about $50 and I really didn’t think they would be that great but I was wrong! They are sooo good they literally look identical to the designer pair (compared to I think like $1200-$1400 depending which pair you get) so I ended up getting them in another color. Another item that I actually have the authentic version of is the beige and gold hardware Chanel bag. I LOVE this bag and it was actually the last collection Karl Lagerfeld did with Chanel before he passed away so I really wanted this bag- but I found a really good dupe to it that is an awesome option. I have a few items from the boutique that sells this bag and the quality is really good and the prices are very fair. I included the links to each item below!
I absolutely love leopard print and I honestly consider it a neutral now LOL. The print is so easy to mix and match and you can easily add a fun pop to your wardrobe with a leopard skirt or even shoes or a belt. I found this skirt on Amazon a few weeks ago and I first of all thought it was at great price point and the quality is great for the price as well. Another thing I love about this skirt is it is comfy to wear if you have a baby bump (if you don’t follow me on instagram I am 7 months pregnant). I have struggled finding cute maternity clothing that I like so I was exciting to find this skirt.
I styled this skirt a bunch of different ways (photographed above) and I plan to continue to wear it as the weather gets warmer. It makes the perfect transition piece! Everything is linked!
So this is Part II of my Valentines day looks! I wanted to give everyone a bunch of different options because I know not everyone dresses up for the holiday. These are the more formal options of my two posts. If you are looking for more casual looks I put up a blog post with some fun mix and match looks HERE.
I tried to focus on fun floral dresses for this post and they are all at different price points so there is something here for everyone! I have been LOVING the sheer sleeve look lately. I got THIS dress and paired it with some black pumps and a red look and I thought it was simple yet elegant enough to wear to Dinner and it’s also under $120. I also love a cute floral dress you can’t go wrong! I linked each of the dresses below
I have been getting to the point where I am REALLY getting over the cold weather but I have a feeling that this is only the start. Hopefully I am wrong- but I figured I would do a roundup of some of my favorite Winter outfits that I have worn so far this season. I am SO into pearl and sweater dresses this season! Pearls have been my go to- I swear the second I see a sweater that has pearls on it I have instantly felt the need to get it. Not mad about it though!
My other favorite item, sweater dresses have been the best Winter “going out” outfit (lol I consider going out going to dinner.) They are so easy to throw on with a pair of boots. Now that it has been a little cooler, I have been wearing a pair of tights with my sweater dresses as well. All of my outfit details are linked!
