I absolutely love leopard print and I honestly consider it a neutral now LOL. The print is so easy to mix and match and you can easily add a fun pop to your wardrobe with a leopard skirt or even shoes or a belt. I found this skirt on Amazon a few weeks ago and I first of all thought it was at great price point and the quality is great for the price as well. Another thing I love about this skirt is it is comfy to wear if you have a baby bump (if you don’t follow me on instagram I am 7 months pregnant). I have struggled finding cute maternity clothing that I like so I was exciting to find this skirt.
I styled this skirt a bunch of different ways (photographed above) and I plan to continue to wear it as the weather gets warmer. It makes the perfect transition piece! Everything is linked!
So this is Part II of my Valentines day looks! I wanted to give everyone a bunch of different options because I know not everyone dresses up for the holiday. These are the more formal options of my two posts. If you are looking for more casual looks I put up a blog post with some fun mix and match looks HERE.
I tried to focus on fun floral dresses for this post and they are all at different price points so there is something here for everyone! I have been LOVING the sheer sleeve look lately. I got THIS dress and paired it with some black pumps and a red look and I thought it was simple yet elegant enough to wear to Dinner and it’s also under $120. I also love a cute floral dress you can’t go wrong! I linked each of the dresses below
I have been getting to the point where I am REALLY getting over the cold weather but I have a feeling that this is only the start. Hopefully I am wrong- but I figured I would do a roundup of some of my favorite Winter outfits that I have worn so far this season. I am SO into pearl and sweater dresses this season! Pearls have been my go to- I swear the second I see a sweater that has pearls on it I have instantly felt the need to get it. Not mad about it though!
My other favorite item, sweater dresses have been the best Winter “going out” outfit (lol I consider going out going to dinner.) They are so easy to throw on with a pair of boots. Now that it has been a little cooler, I have been wearing a pair of tights with my sweater dresses as well. All of my outfit details are linked!
Stopping in to say hey on this freezing winter day! I was browsing in Nordstrom the other day and could not leave without this top and jeans. These jeans are the most slimming jeans ever and they are high rise which makes my short legs look sooo much longer. I think that is one of the best things I have realized over the past few years is that high rise jeans = longer legs! Anyone else remember the extremely low rise jeans from middle school. I would never have dared to wear high rise jeans!
Anyway! This outfit would be the perfect date night look and so cute for Valentines day. I was thinking about pairing these with some black heeled boots too but it was like 45 degrees out the other day which I sadly considered “warm” so I went with the heels. I am linking up all my outfit details!
If you have been following me for a while (on instagram @tnstyled) you know that I really am not huge into wearing colorful clothing. I do really love red but I just feel like wearing it as a sweater or dress is just not my thing, so I usually tend to just wear pops of red with lipstick or earrings. BUT with that being said, I found this sweater by ASTR (sold in Nordstroms, Shopbop) and I really do love it and am glad I gave red a chance LOL. I also think that pairing it with neutral accessories, like a gray hat plays down the red a little. Anyway, it is fully in stock at Shopbop with free holiday shipping!
I wanted to talk about something I have recently started doing that I really never put much thought into before. Recently, I have started dressing more to flatter my body type. I kind of have always just worn whatever is cute but I started seeing so much about how to dress your specific body type and did a little research. I am petite standing at 5’3 and I have a long torso and shorter legs. So with this being said my goal is to elongate my legs.
I found that wearing vertical stripes is a MUST for people who are on the petite side and have a shorter legs. ALSO wearing a wedge sandal really helps with this as well especially when the jumpsuit has a flare leg. I was finding so many jumpsuit that were $100+ and wanted to find one that was on the cheaper side. I found THIS amazing one from Forever21 for under $25 and not only is the quality good, it has vertical stripes in the prettiest colors! This jumpsuit is definitely a win in my book. I have included all links to everything I am wearing below!
