Cheesy Chicken Sheetpan Tacos

Course Main Course, Snack

Ingredients

  • flour tortillas (I used the street tacos)
  • ground chicken or beef
  • cheese
  • taco seasoning (I used the entire packet for 1 lb of chicken
  • salsa (I added about 1/4 cup to the chicken + more for serving)
  • sour cream or greek yogurt for dipping
  • cooking spray (I used avocado oil)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees and brown the chicken. Add in taco seasoning and salsa and cook until done.
  • Spray the baking sheet with cooking spray and then lay out the tacos (make sure the part of the taco that's touching the pan gets coated with oil). Add in some cheese, chicken, and then more cheese, and fold each taco in half.
  • Lay a second baking sheet on top of the tacos and bake for 15 minutes with the pan on top and then remove the pan and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Watch them carefully so they don’t burn!
  • Serve with all your favorite toppings + lime wedges!

Notes

I should have included exact measurements since serving size varies depending on how much cheese meat you like in your taco. Be careful not to overfill. You can get about 18-22 tacos for one lb of meat.
